A Open Letter from Dr. Zarutskie
Dear Valued Patient,
It has been my pleasure to serve you and the community for the last 25 years. At this time, it is my intention to retire from actively practicing medicine as of December 31st, 2007.
As a pioneer in the medical specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology, serving as SART President, establishing the National Coalition of Oversight of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (NCOART) and serving the community at Mission Hospital and St. Margaret’s School, I have been passionate in sharing my enthusiasm for helping couples
establish their families. Caring for my patients on a day to day basis, has been a central part of my life. I have truly enjoyed each and every moment, and can actually state that “I love what I do”, helping over 5,000 couples achieve their dream.
My experience, expertise and passion, in assisting infertile couples has continued to evolve over the past several years, in such a way as to present new options outside clinical medicine. At this time I have decided to pursue these new challenges.
While my wife, family and I look forward to the endeavors that retirement from clinical practice will bring me, I will also miss the many personal and professional relationships that I have developed while practicing medicine.
I will be happy to forward a copy of your records to a physician of your choice.
I am enclosing two copies of an authorization for the release of your records. Please complete the authorization and return one copy to me; the other copy is for you. My team of staff and I will do our best to make this transition as easy as possible.
I extend to you my best wishes for your health and happiness.
Paul W. Zarutskie, MD
